More Concept Art

For several days now I have done a lot of concept art towards the development of McGlone...
















After some other ideas to develop the face I begun developing what he wore and what build he had.

3D Head Mock Up Version 0.0

With a basic shape for McGlone I decided to try and test out how difficult it might be to generate his head in that current style I'm working with.


The style itself is quite square so it wasn't too difficult to make though my thought is that a face rib will take some working out and further development of the face/head will be needed.

Concept Art

The character I'm designing is Wee Eck McGlone; the bald, long-suffering, patriotic Scottish janitor with an obsession with sweeping up dung. Here are some sketches for a possible face and head design...

Above are some preliminary sketches of my first perception of a patriotic scotsman...

The style continued to develop more into a more blocky and less circular one...

We're thinking of making him quite broad as well, giving him a smaller lower body than upper body...

Above his face has been squashed and given a beard...
Now I tried a few other designs, such as making the beard more spiky rather than soilid and trying out a few more different styles. However I have to keep in mind the time frame and the fact that an overly complicated style might take more time to model, rig and animate...
